Consultations

Initial consultation takes about 30 minutes depending on what services you are interested in. An exam will take place and any lab orders will be placed at the end of this appointment for those seeking weight loss management or hormone replacement. Once your labs have resulted and been reviewed, we will email you to discuss placing orders to the pharmacy for your medications.

There is a one-time consultation fee of $25.00 for all services. If the appointment runs longer than 30-40 minutes, then the consult fee will be $35.00.

If you’ve had labs done by your PCP in the last 6 months, we can discuss using this data rather than ordering new labs.

All lab fees and prescription costs are covered by you or your insurance. The pharmacies will bill you directly, this helps keep costs down.

Veterans, the consultation fee is waived.

Fees

We are a cash only practice, this way prices won't fluctuate with insurance coverages or changes.

Each service costs different, but we strive to keep prices lower and avoid additional costs like injection fees, lab fees, etc.

We accept Cash, Venmo, Paypal, and credit/debit cards.

Weight Loss Management
-
Due to recent changes by the FDA, compounded GLP1 type medications (Semaglutide or Tirzepatide) are no longer available as a stand alone medications. These medications are now being compounded or mixed with other safe medications to enhance weight loss effects or improve wellbeing. Currently they are being mixed with different amino acids to help avoid muscle wasting or with B12 to improve energy levels and offset potential B12 deficiency.

No prior authorization forms will be done due to the extreme time needed to ensure approval of brand name medications.

​Oral medication options include Phentermine, Naltrexone, Qysmia, Contrave, Sermorelin, and other oral supplements depending on your personal goals and needs. ​​

For women seeking weight loss options; birth control measures must be considered, if still menstruating. There is potential for significant fetal harm, as such these medications must be stopped prior to becoming pregnant. For specifics, speak to your OBGYN about these medications.

Hormone Replacement

Male replacement options include topical and injectable testosterone and enclomiphene/clomid. Regular labs will be required to be completed or services and prescriptions will be terminated.

If couples are trying to get pregnant, hormone replacement is not recommended as this can impair chances of getting pregnant. We encourage you to discuss HRT with your Primary Care Provider (PCP) and/or Endocrinologist for expert guidance.

Female replacement options include topical and vaginal estradiols and oral progesterone. Careful screening and monitoring must take place prior to, during, and after replacement. Oral estrogens are not an option due to the increased risks associated with them.

PAP and Mammography must be regularly done, based on USPSTF guidelines, as part of your preventative screening done with PCP and/or Gynecologist.

Sexual Health

​Some of these medications do not have large amounts of clinical data to support there use, however many less rigorous studies do show improvement in symptoms with their use. Please understand results can't be guaranteed. ​

Joint Injections
-
​Steroid injections can help relieve joint pain for months on end. There are some criteria which must be met; no recent injection with steroids in the last 4-6 months. An xray of the joint may need to be obtained first to assess for osteoarthritis (OA) if no prior history of OA. No injections will be done on joints that have been partially or completely replaced. If you're diabetic, understand this will cause a spike in blood sugars for days following the injection.

For those who are still wanting to pursue joint surgery, steroid injections should be done by your orthopedic or primary care provider.

For those who are on hospice and cannot leave the home, services can be done in the home or care facility for an additional fee.

Currently only injecting knees and shoulders.

Skin Care

Many of these products are used by dermatologists to treat a variety of skin symptoms. However, like many products, results may vary and cannot be guaranteed.

Seasonal Allergies
-
Steroid injections may offer longer lasting relief when oral and nasal medications are ineffective.

As with joint injections, risks may include rises in blood sugar, injection site reactions, etc. Results cannot be guaranteed.

Pharmacies
-
We utilize several pharmacies for compounding including Olympia which offers a wide variety of products and medications. We also use Red Rock and Mtn Care pharmacies for our compounded GLP1 medications.​

We encourage you do to research these pharmacies for the products you are interested in.

Labs​
-
We utilize Treasure Valley Lab (St Alphonsus) for our labs. Lab orders will be sent to this lab. If you have had recent labs (within the last 6 months) done we can utilize them for our purposes. Understand that insurance is not being billed in order to help keep operating costs low, as such lab fees are not included with our fees.

Testosterone and other hormone labs must be done in the morning before 10 am, if not, they won't be used to assess hormone deficiency. We want to see how high your hormone levels are at their peak, not their trough.

Consent

Discussion of risks, benefits, side effects, use of medications, length of use, and opportunity for questions will be done at time of consultation. Consent forms will be completed at this time as well.
